This is a rather simple program written for Preachers, Teachers
and Public Speakers. The purpose is to add fresh JOKES NOTES &
QUOTES to your speech or surmons. But it can be used by anyone
just for enjoyment.
To install JOKES NOTES & QUOTES to your hardrive just make a
directory called C:\JNQ (Or whatever you want to name it.) and
copy all the files to that directory. Or you can even run it
on a floppy.
Then type JNQ to start the program its that easy.
You will then see a title screen with the credits. After this
the Main Menu will pop up.
You then will have seven choices:
1. LIST JOKE TITLES
2. LIST NOTE TITLES
3. LIST QUOTE TITLES Just type the number of
4. LIST ALL JN&Q TITLES the selection you want.
5. SEARCH TITLE FOR KEYWORD
6. SEARCH TEXT FOR KEYWORD
7. READ JN&Q
X. EXIT
The Main Menu should be self-explanatory. But I will go ahead and
explain a few of them. Selection #5 will search all Titles only
for specific text you are looking for. Selection #6 does the
same as #5 but it will search all JOKES NOTES & QUOTES text.
Selection #7 will let you browse all JOKES NOTES & QUOTES,
beginning with JOKE NOTE & QUOTE #1. You may then proceed through
each JOKE NOTE & QUOTE with the PAGE DOWN key.
Once you have selected one of the Titles selections 1 thru 4 you
can also PAGE DOWN in that praticular Title box to scan all Titles
in that area. When you have found a JOKE NOTE & QUOTE that catches
your eye type "V" for View and you will then be prompted to
type the number of your choice. This step will allow you to view
the entire JOKE NOTE or QUOTE on the viewing screen.
Finally, if you would like to Print that praticular JOKE NOTE &
QUOTE simply type "P". Or if you would like to make it a file for
importing to your favorite word proccessor type "S" for save.
"X" will always take you back to the Main Menu if you get stuck.
And there is always the Help command just type "H". This is a
very short document on how to operate the program but it should be
sufficient. Enjoy.......
